In 2001, TENEX became one of the first Russian companies to receive a certificate of the state accreditation as an organization with an internal program of export control — a complex of administrative and technical measures aimed at meeting the requirements of Russia’s legislation in the field of export control.
The period of validity of TENEX’s state accreditation has repeatedly been prolonged, taking in consideration the Company being strictly obedient to the requirements of export control.
During the period of accreditation validity, as per resolution of the government of the Russian Federation, TENEX receives general uranium production export licenses allowing to significantly shorten the terms of supplies clearance.
Under the current general export license, TENEX conducts uranium products shipping to France, Germany, PRC, Republic of Korea, the UK, and the USA. The reports on fulfillment of the general license are quarterly sent to the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of the Russian Federation.
In addition, TENEX annually receives single licenses for export/import of nuclear materials fulfilling the obligations set by the current contracts.
