TENEX, JSC (a company of the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation) took preliminary stock of 2021, with revenue gained by the TENEX Group from its long-established and newly launched business lines exceeding $2.6 billion.
From December 13 to December 17, Conference on the Safe and Secure Transport of Nuclear and Radioactive Materials 2021 was held online. Representatives of TENEX, JSC (part of ROSATOM) and NFCL, JSC (managed by TENEX, JSC) participated in the conference.
On December 10, 2021, TENEX, JSC received the title of laureate of the All-Russian prize in the field of international cooperation and export “Exporter of the Year” for the third place in the nomination “Trader of the Year”. The award ceremony took place at the site of the annual International Export Forum “Made in Russia”. The awards were presented to the winners by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation A. R. Belousov.
The French company Électricité de France (EDF) selected Rosatom-subsidiary TENEX as one of the winners of an international tender for converting and enriching EDF’s reprocessed uranium (RepU) and the technical maintenance of EDF’s RepU containers in 2018. TENEX’s application met EDF’s technical, environmental, and commercial requirements. The parties signed contracts on the provision of corresponding services in the framework of the XXII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that same year.
On September 20, the new edition of the TENEX Group Supplier Code of Conduct was approved. The updated document incorporates the most relevant international requirements and approaches in the field of sustainable development.
TENEX in a consortium with specialists of V. G. Khlopin Radium Institute JSC, SSC NIIAR (part of the scientific division of the ROSATOM), FSUE A. P. Alexandrov NITI, as well as the St. Petersburg branch of the Institute of Geoecology of the Russian Academy of Sciences successfully completed work on a two-year project to study the impact of storage conditions on the characteristics of simulant fuel-containing materials (corium) which were developed based on the characteristics of fuel debris formed after the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi NPS.
Russian national team has entered into the top-5 of the best management teams of the world, having taken the 4th place in the final stage of the International Global Management Challenge Championship of the season 2019/2020.
On July 1, 2021, the VII Round Table on Sustainable Development organized by TENEX and Nexia Pacioli took place. The key topics for discussion this year were the climate agenda and greenhouse gas emissions management.
