TENEX Group adopts new edition of Supplier Code of Conduct

On September 22, the new edition of the TENEX Group Supplier Code of Conduct was approved. The revision of the document has been carried out due to the transformation of the sustainability agenda both at the global and state levels, the shift in focus of the foreign customers’ requirements and expectations, as well as the enhancement of industry processes for managing sustainable development.
In the updated version of the Supplier Code of Conduct provisions concerning management approaches of TENEX in the sphere of sustainable development, their transparency and adoption by employees have been extended. Principles in the areas of workers’ rights observance, occupational safety and safety culture, personnel retention and development, management of environmental impacts and carbon footprint reduction have been refined. A provision concerning the importance of innovation and intellectual property rights protection has been added. In addition, the mechanisms of cooperation between TENEX and suppliers in terms of adherence to the Code have been specified.
The revised edition of the TENEX Group Supplier Code of Conduct was presented to stakeholders as part of public consultations in August 2023. TENEX partners noted the comprehensiveness of the document, as well as its compliance with relevant international requirements. The received comments and observations of stakeholders were taken into account when preparing the final version of the document.

TENEX Group is committed to the principles of sustainable development and applies a responsible approach to managing the environmental, social and economic impacts of its activities. In 2019, TENEX developed the Supplier Code of Conduct- a set of basic sustainable development principles which the Group implements in its activities and conveys to the supply chain.
The system of sustainability monitoring of the supply chain is one of the elements of the integrated work of ROSATOM to introduce sustainable development to the Russian nuclear industry. The facilitation of the implementation of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals is fixed in the Corporation’s strategy as one of the essential conditions for its work.
