TENEX adopts new edition of Supplier Code of Conduct
On August 7, the new edition of the TENEX Supplier Code of Conduct was approved. The document was updated due to the dynamic change in the global sustainable development agenda.
The updated document takes into account both changes in international standards (Global Reporting Initiative standards, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, etc.) and the provisions of the current version of the Unified Industry Policy in the Field of Sustainable Development of ROSATOM.
The topic of safety is highlighted in a separate section as a key priority of the ROSATOM. The independent aspect of the «Climate Agenda» combines issues of carbon footprint management and adaptation to climate change, which are attracting increasing attention from foreign customers. New accents were given to the aspects of «Transparency», «Support for local communities», «Respect for human rights», «Biodiversity» and «Closed-loop technologies».
The updated version of the Code was presented to stakeholders as part of the public discussions held in July 2025. The partners noted the comprehensiveness of the document and its compliance with current international requirements. The comments received from them were taken into account when preparing the final version of the document.
«The new version of the Code is the quintessence of accumulated experience, evidence of the company's growth, awareness and maturity in the field of sustainable development,» comments E. S. Palchikov, Director of Strategic Programs and Communications at TENEX JSC, «This creates additional prerequisites for the creation of new alliances and partnerships at the international level in the interests of sustainable development.»
